The page comes out crooked or cut off

Put the paper on a darker surface so its edges stand out, and keep all four corners in view. After scanning, tap Edit on the page to drag the corners yourself.

Thai text isn't recognized

Settings › Text recognition shows the languages your iPhone can read. If Thai isn't listed, update to the latest iOS. Recognition runs on your iPhone, so it also works offline.

I didn't get a warranty reminder

Allow notifications for Squarescan in iPhone Settings › Notifications. Reminders are sent 30 and 7 days before the warranty ends (you can change this on each receipt).

Restoring Pro on a new iPhone

In Squarescan, open Settings and tap Restore (also on the Pro screen), signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.

Cancelling a subscription

Yearly and weekly plans are managed by Apple: iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Squarescan. The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment and never renews.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Moving to a new iPhone

With Pro, turn on Settings › iCloud backup on the old iPhone. On the new one, sign in to the same iCloud account, restore your purchase, then tap Settings › Restore from iCloud.

Where are my documents stored?

On your iPhone, plus your own iCloud if you turn on iCloud backup. See the Privacy Policy.
